From 1995 to 2011 Bjørn worked for PGS and from 2008 he held the position as VP Operations, with global operational responsibility for all PGS marine seismic operations. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in Trondheim.
